*shrugs and smirks* Either way, I saw you and a friend of mine. Does the name Delorean Haverson mean anything to you?
When did you see us? *smiles* I mean she’s a friend, a good friend. You know her well?
Ah, yes. He did seem to leave early, though.
I wonder why.
Zero raced to town really wishing he could still fly as he tried to get all the ingredients that Delorean told him. Eggs, check. Milk, his was spoiled so new milk, check. Baking soda, check. And flour, there was a lot of different types of flour at the store, best to go with the one with pancakes on the package. Lastly he got a various supply of syrup for the finished product. Once home Zero continued to race around cleaning and trying to find his cooking stuff. Like he thought they were in his cupboard along with dust and a spider guarding its web. Zero needed to cook more, at least he needed to clean more. He threw them in the sink and began scrubbing like a mad man after flinging the spider down the drain when it crawled on him.
The frying pan, spatula, and a variety of mixing bowls laid on a towel drying when Zero turned on some music. The disc that was in the player was Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits and Zero just rolled with it. As music started playing Zero heard Delorean at the door which he promptly opened slightly out of breath. “Hey!” Gasps for air. “Welcome to my” More gasps. “House.” And smile.
Fantastic! Ahm, well. My home is sort of a mess from the weekend. I sorta had a movie marathon by myself, so your would probably work better than mine. So, you’d have to show me where you keep all your baking stuff, if you have anything that is. If not, I can just bring the stuff that I have over.
I have the pans and stuff… somewhere. Yeah no we’re good, I know pretty sure they’re in the kitchen. I’ll see you soon then.
Oh! Okay. Well ahm, we will need All purpose flour, baking soda, salt. Eggs, that is a definite. Milk and Butter. Pretty simple stuff.
Okay yeah I can get that. My place or yours?
*laughs* Yes, the bookshop guy. Good friend of mine. Best, even. We’re flatmates.
Oh well that’s convenient. I think I saw him at the dance with some dark haired woman.
Oh… okay. Maybe you will still be friends. That is the best to hold onto hope for. *smiles a bit*
I am really good at making cookies. Mostly the ones you buy the dough for, seeing as most of my mothers recipes are well, with my mother. Ahmmm… I can make cupcakes too. but my main specialty, would have to be pancakes. I am fantastic at making pancakes.
Pancakes actually sound really good right now. I can buy the ingredients if you want. I just need to know what they are.
I’ve read all the books at the flat. I can go by Cameron’s shop then.
The bookshop guy? I think I’ve seen him around.
Maybe she will. Maybe she just needs to clear her head or something. Don’t loose hope okay? Just.. ahm.. I am horrible with helping people after break ups. I mean, my advice is usually to either move on and hold a sliver of hope that they will return or… just well, try and have them fall in love with you again, which never really works sometime. Ugh, I am sorry I ramble.
I could make you some food, sweets perfectly. Just name it and I will attempt to make it.
I don’t think there is much hope for that kind of relationship, I just hope we’ll still be friends. I’ve been watching old movies and drinking tea.
What’s your specialty? Maybe I can help.
